Celebrating you

Our people awards celebrate excellence and colleagues and teams who go above and beyond in delivering care and working together.

There are two annual awards which are nominated for by patients with the shortlisted finalists going out to public vote. All shortlisted finalists are invited to our annual celebration event in May and the winners are announced on the night. These are our People’s Choice individual and team awards.

There are seven categories which are awarded quarterly: we are a team, we are always learning, we each have a voice that counts, we work flexibly, we are compassionate, we are safe and healthy and the Chair’s special award. Nominations close at the end of March, June, September and December, with winners announced at Trust Talk the following month. All winners are invited to a special awards breakfast as well as being invited to the annual celebration event in May.

We also have a people partner award that colleagues can nominate individuals or teams in other organisations for – past winners have included Young Devon (a charity who support young people in Devon) and the Coastal Adult Social Care Team (Devon County Council). If you work with an individual or a team from another organisation who makes a real difference to our local communities, please consider nominating them for this award.
